Chandigarh, June 26 -- Chandigarh Golf Club hosted the inaugural edition of the Captains Cup, a tournament instituted in honour of club captain Alamgir Grewal. Held over two days on June 20 and 21, the championship attracted the club's most accomplished amateur golfers. The tournament was exclusively open to single-handicap golfers (0-9 handicap) and was contested over 36 holes in a stroke-play format. Dilsher Singh Grewal etched his name in the club's history books by becoming the inaugural Captains Cup champion.
