Chandigarh, Aug. 24 -- Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday embarked on a three-day "Happening Haryana 2.0," an international outreach and global capital campaign in Mumbai. During the three-day investor summit being held from August 23 to 25, memorandums of understanding (MoUs) will be signed.
Interacting with Haryanvis living outside the state, Saini called upon them to remain connected with their roots and actively participate in the development of the state.The chief minister said that the relationship between Haryana and Mumbai is not merely one of birthplace and workplace, but a bond of values and opportunities, hard work and expansion. He said that Haryanvis settled in Mumbai are a living bridge between the two states.
"I have not come to you asking only for investment, but also for ideas and participation," Saini said and urged the Haryanvi community to pass on its language, culture and traditions to the next generation.
