Chandigarh, Aug. 3 -- The Chandigarh Golf Association elected a 14-member executive committee during its annual general body meeting in Sector 6 on Sunday. The elections were conducted under the supervision of returning officer Karan Avtar Singh, former Punjab chief secretary. Dr Bhagwant Singh of Chandigarh sports department was the observer. Among the 14 elected members are Adesh Joshi, Anurag Chopra, Arjun Pratap Atmaram, Daksh Prem Azad, Gaurav Sethi, Gurpreet Singh, Gursimran Singh Sethi, Harpuneet Singh Sandhu, Karan Mahajan, Puneet Sood, Sampat Singh Ahluwalia, Sandeep Sarup Sehgal, Siddhartha Kumar and Sorabh Tayal. The new executive committee will function under the presidentship of Ranjit Kumar Pachnanda, former director general of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). Earlier, the outgoing executive committee presented its annual performance report, highlighting the association's achievements, activities and progress during its tenure.
