Panchkula, July 28 -- A 35-year-old man was allegedly robbed of his gold chain worth around Rs.2 lakh by two unidentified motorcycle-borne youngsters outside his house in Sector 17 on Sunday night. According to the FIR registered at Sector 14 police station under Section 304 ( snatching) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) on Monday, complainant Mohit Mittal, a resident of Sector 17, was closing the gate of his house at around 9.45 pm on Sunday when two youngsters on a motorcycle suddenly snatched his gold chain and fled towards Akshay Urja Bhawan. Mittal told the police that due to darkness, he could not note the registration number of the motorcycle.
