Chandigarh, Nov. 2 -- Foundation days of eight states and seven union territories (UTs) were celebrated at Punjab Lok Bhawan on Sunday under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative. Punjab governor and UT administrator Gulab Chand Kataria, who presided over the function, called for strengthening national unity through cultural exchange and mutual respect. He urged young people to contribute to nation-building by promoting education, skill development, women's empowerment and sports.
