Chandigarh, Sept. 27 -- Police have registered a case under Section 115 for voluntarily causing hurt after two groups clashed near the Gurdwara in Attawa village in Sector 42 on Friday. According to the complaint, the victim identified as Deepak was allegedly beaten up by several persons over minor dispute. According to the complainant Deepak, a resident of Attawa village, after the Ganpati Visarjan event, a DJ setup was put up and the people had come to celebrate. While dancing, his foot touched one of the accused, who started to argue and the situation escalated further. The victim was allegedly thrashed while people tried to intervene. Based on his complaint, a case has been registered at the Sector 36 police station. Officials said that the investigation is underway....
