Dharamshala, Oct. 1 -- Una Police have registered an FIR following a complaint of medical negligence by the family of a 31-year-old man who died during treatment at the Regional Hospital on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Harpal, a resident of Sunehra village in Una. His family also staged a protest on the hospital premises. According to family members, Harpal reached the hospital on Wednesday morning with chest pain. They alleged that despite repeatedly informing the hospital staff about his condition, he was asked to wait. The police have registered a case under Section 106 (death by negligence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Una SP Sachin Hiremath said, "We have registered a case and an inquiry has been initiated. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. We are also coordinating with the health department, which has also initiated a probe at its level."HTC...
