Chandigarh, Nov. 6 -- Chandigarh education secretary Prerna Puri on Thursday distributed Diwali gifts and sweets to 58 students of Government Model High School, Rehabilitation Colony No. 2, Maloya, as part of an initiative by Tricity Intelligentsia to bring festive cheer to children who have lost one or both parents. Of the 58 students, eight lost both parents, while the remaining 50 lost their fathers.
