India, June 13 -- Supplements may seem like a quick route to better health, but experts caution against following trends without understanding what the body actually needs. They emphasise that supplements should be chosen according to individual deficiencies, symptoms and blood work, not social media recommendations. Nutritionist Dr Vishakha Shivdasani says women should avoid blindly buying supplements promoted online. "Following social media trends can be misleading. You should first assess your health, then decide what to do based on your blood work and symptoms. Don't rely on what an influencer is promoting.
