Chandigarh, May 8 -- Pleasant conditions continued in the city on Thursday as the maximum temperature dropped by three notches, to settle at 30.8degC from, 34.3degC a day before. Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted clear days ahead with no alerts for three consecutive days. There are chances of thunderstorm, with wind speed going up to 40-50 km per hour, and lightning from nextweek. This week, however, there are chances of clear skies.
