Cheema flags off five luxury PUNBUSbuses to IGI Airport
CHANDIGARH, June 10 -- Transport minister Harpal Singh Cheema on Tuesday flagged off five new PUNBUS super integral coach buses that will operate between Jalandhar and Ludhiana, and the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) in Delhi.
Cheema said that the move is aimed at providing comfortable and affordable connectivity to international travellers, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and regular passengers while further strengthening the state's public transport network.
"This service will benefit international commuters and daily passengers, while helping eliminate the transportmafia from the state," Cheema said.
He further announced that the transport department will induct a total of 15 new super integral coach buses into the PUNBUS fleet....
