Chandigarh, June 20 -- City golfers Krish Chawla and Harjai Milkha Singh etched their names in history by guiding India to its maiden Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation (APGC) Junior Championship Boys Team title at the Royal Colombo Golf Club, Sri Lanka. The duo combined for a winning total of 9-under par, edging South Korea and Thailand by a solitary stroke. The victory was sealed when Krish sank a 20-foot birdie putt on the final hole, securing India's first-ever APGC Junior Championship win. Both players, classmates at Strawberry Fields High School and trainees of coach Jesse Grewal, played pivotal roles throughout the tournament.
