Chandigarh, May 16 -- Senior police officials have sought a report after a head constable of the Chandigarh Police, attached with the Chandigarh municipal corporation, crashed into two two-wheelers in Manimajra on Thursday night. According to eyewitnesses, the cop was allegedly drunk at the time of the incident. According to police, head constable Joginder hit a rider on a Honda Activa scooter with his Hyundai Venue car near the civil hospital in Manimajra. As passersby gathered, he tried to flee the spot when he allegedly hit another Activa scooter rider before people apprehended him. While both the two-wheeler riders sustained minor injuries, people there alleged that he was in an inebriated condition. The police were informed. Manimajra police officials said they were yet to receive an official complaint in the matter. Senior police officials have confirmed that they have sought a report into the cop's behaviour.
