BATHINDA, Aug. 25 -- A 28-year-old bus conductor died following a scuffle with two unidentified men near the bus stand in Bathinda city on Sunday night. The deceased was identified as Baljinder Singh, a resident of Chughe Kalan village in Bathinda. The incident was recorded on a CCTV camera installed near the spot. Police have launched a probe after registering a murder case at the Kotwali police station. Superintendent of police (City) Aaswant Singh Dhaliwal said initial investigation indicated that the Baljinder and the assailants had a tiff, during which he suffered an abdominal injury. Following the scuffle, Baljinder collapsed near the rear gate of the bus stand around 9 pm and was rushed to Shaheed Bhai Mani Singh Civil Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
