Chandigarh, Oct. 7 -- Crushed bodies of a 19-year-old man and a woman, also 19, were found on the railway tracks in Hallomajra on Monday night. Police suspect it to be a case of suicide though no note was recovered from the spot. According to the Government Railway Police (GRP), Chandigarh, the two had allegedly jumped onto the tracks around 8.45 pm and were run over by a passing train. A GRP team took possession of the bodies and sent them to the civil hospital in Sector 6, Panchkula, for post-mortem examination. Police said both families did not want any further action in the matter. Thus, the bodies were handed over to the families, while inquest proceedings under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) were initiated.HTC...
