Mohali, Sept. 21 -- Kharar police have booked a Hisar resident for allegedly smashing a businessman's car windshield, ramming his SUV into his motorcycle and snatching his gold chain following a family dispute in Sunny Enclave. Hitesh Hans, 37, who runs a mobile shop in Phase 1, Mohali, told police that his distant uncle, Pankaj Khurana, smashed his car's windshield with a stone at his Sector 123 residence and fled in his Mahindra Thar around 8.30 am on September 10. Later, while Hans was returning after dropping his children at school, Khurana allegedly chased and rammed his SUV into his motorcycle. He also hurled abuses and attacked him before pulling a 30-gram gold chain. The complainant said the dispute followed an earlier altercation, after which the family had cut ties with Khurana. Hans approached police on Saturday, seeking protection. An FIR has been registered, police said....
