India, March 22 -- A ctor-comedian Gaurav Gera is earning praise for his role as Aalam in director Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Speaking to us, the actor shares how he carefully preserved the spy thriller's intrigue during the three-month gap between the first instalment, Dhurandhar (2025), and its sequel, ensuring the mystery around his character's fate remained intact for audiences. "Maine bahut calls ignore kiye hain. It is not the fear of the non-disclosure agreement (NDA), but the kind of love that the film has. I didn't want to spoil it. If you give up the important parts of the film, the fun goes, and for such a film jismein logon ne itni jaan lagayi hai, I felt responsible for it," says the actor. When asked about the most challenging part of maintaining secrecy, from taking up the role till the film's release, the 53-year-old adds, "Since I live with my parents, it has been tough to hide it from them. Mummy toh abhi bhi bolti hain ki 'tune to bas bola thha ki juice waale ka role hai'. I also donned a white beard, and many people may have thought that I didn't have any work!" Lastly, talking about the kind of work he aspires to take on next, Gaurav says, "I loved working in Dhurandhar, so more of that."...
