Chandigarh, Sept. 12 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Punjab affairs in-charge Manish Sisodia on Friday said that state president Aman Arora is an ex-officio member of the party's national executive. "As per the AAP's constitution, state presidents are ex-officio members of the national executive. Accordingly, Arora, by virtue of being the AAP's Punjab president, is a member of the national executive," Sisodia said, rejecting reports that claimed Arora had been removed from the party's national executive. On Wednesday, the AAP had overhauled its top decision-making structure during its 15th national council and executive meetings. CM Bhagwant Mann and finance minister Harpal Cheema have been elevated to the political affairs committee (PAC), the party's highest decision-making body.
