Panchkula, Aug. 23 -- The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has floated another tender worth Rs.72.49 lakh to complete the remaining works at the multi-featured park in Sector 24, signalling a renewed push to complete the project following chief minister Nayab Singh Saini's directions to probe the utilisation of nearly Rs.22 crore spent on it so far. The latest tender covers laying chequered tiles on footpaths, constructing a gate and painting the boundary wall and grills. The contractor will have three months to complete the work. The contract is likely to be awarded in September. Earlier this month, the HSVP floated a Rs.4.17-crore tender for the remaining horticulture and landscaping work at the park. Last month, the HSVP had also floated a separate Rs.65.62-lakh tender for the construction of internal roads and parking, painting of boundary walls and grills, and laying chequered tiles on footpaths.
