Ambala, April 15 -- A woman was killed after being struck by a car while crossing a road near the Ambala-Jagadhri highway here on Tuesday afternoon, police said. After the accident, the car driver fled the scene along with the vehicle. The police have registered a case against the unidentified driver. According to the police, the woman, a resident of Pasiala village, sustained serious injuries and later succumbed to her injuries at a hospital. The police are scanning CCTV footage from the vicinity of the Saha police station and along the highway to find the registration number of the vehicle involved in the mishap.PTI...
