Jalandhar, Sept. 19 -- The local police safely rescued a four-year-old child who was kidnapped from Jalandhar on Thursday. Assistant commissioner of police Aatish Bhatia said the abductors abandoned the child at Jalandhar bus stand on Thursday late evening following which the police teams safely rescued him and handed over him to his parents. He added that 10 police teams have been constituted to arrest the two identified accused. The whole incident of child's abduction was captured on CCTV cameras in which both accused could be seen taking the child forcefully on the two-wheeler. "Following the incident, police teams tracked their movement until Nangal Shama near Rama Mandi, from where the accused dropped the child at the bus stand before fleeing the spot," the ACP said.
