NEW DELHI, Aug. 4 -- More than a month after the June 2026 University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) concluded, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is yet to release either the provisional answer keys or the results. UGC-NET, conducted twice a year in computer-based mode, determines eligibility for admission to PhD programmes, recruitment as assistant professors, and the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF). The June session was held from June 22 to June 30 across 87 subjects. Candidates have repeatedly urged the agency to publish the provisional answer keys before announcing the results.
