5 visa firms in sector 17 booked for Rs.57l fraud
Chandigarh, May 21 -- Five separate cases of cheating and visa fraud amounting to Rs.57 lakh have been registered against visa companies in Sector 17, police said on Wednesday.
One of the complainants from Kurukshetra, Balbir Singh, alleged that Mandeep, Gagandeep, Navdeep, Gurleen and Karamvir of Visa Support Services Pvt Ltd, Sector 17, cheated him of Rs.9.46 lakh on the pretext of arranging a visa.
Another complainant Ashwani Kumar of Kaithal, Haryana, alleged that officials of Fly Out Immigration, Sector 17, duped him of Rs.23.9 lakh for visa processing. Sarvjit Singh of Una, Himachal Pradesh, alleged that Visa Vibes Immigration in Sector 17 cheated him of Rs.6.77 lakh. Ankush Panchal of Karnal,Haryana, also accused Visa Vibes of cheating him ofRs.7.75 lakh. The FIRs have been registered against multipleindividuals.htc...
