Mohali, July 9 -- Zirakpur police on Tuesday booked four unidentified persons after an argument over an alleged elbow hit escalated into an assault and robbery of two friends near Chander Weston Dhaba in Zirakpur. According to the police, the accused attacked the two friends, identified as Rahul Sharma and Jatin Kumar. According to the complaint, the victims had gone to the dhaba on June 25. Around 11.40pm, Rahul was returning from the washroom when he was confronted by an unidentified man who alleged that Rahul had deliberately hit him. Seeing the confrontation, Jatin stepped in to defuse the situation; subsequently, three unidentified men joined the first accused and assaulted them.
