Hoshiarpur, July 17 -- A 27-year-old man was killed by unidentified miscreants in Binewal on Thursday, police said. The victim, Manjit Singh, was a resident of Bhwanipur Majari village. Police said the victim was standing near a petrol pump when he was allegedly taken away in a car by six-seven persons. They said the victim was later left on the road nearly a kilometre away in an injured state. They said the victim was shot in the legs and assaulted with sharp edged weapons.
