Panchkula, Aug. 21 -- A 25-year-old Solan resident, on way to her workplace in Sector 10, Panchkula, was killed after a truck hit her motorcycle on Mallah Road in Pinjore around 9 am on Wednesday. The victim, identified as Shalini, had suffered critical injuries in the mishap and died on the spot. Pinjore station house officer (SHO) inspector Rajesh Kumar said the truck driver has been arrested and the vehicle seized from the spot. A case under Sections 106 (death by negligence), 281 (rash or negligent driving) and 125(a) (act that endangers human life or personal safety of others) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita has been registered. htc...
