Hoshiarpur, March 29 -- A 25-year-old man, who had fallen into a 50-ft borewell in Quila Barun village of Hoshiarpur, was miraculously rescued two days later. The youngster, identified as Ricky, had gone missing on Thursday. On Saturday, a passerby had heard his cries for help and alerted the village residents following which volunteers of an NGO, 'Voiceless Second Innings Home', pulled him out. Ricky was found with multiple injuries. He revealed that he had accidentally fallen into the borewell on Thursday night. He was rushed to the civil hospital for treatment.
