Chandigarh, Sept. 27 -- The counting of votes for the registered graduates constituency of the Panjab University (PU) senate election has entered its final phase after completing 31 rounds over four days. Of the 51 candidates who contested for 15 seats, 31 have been eliminated from the race so far.Four candidates have already been declared elected, while 16 contenders remain in the fray for the remaining 11 seats. The outcome will become clear once five more candidates are eliminated, after which the remaining 11 candidates will be declared winners.
