Mohali, June 23 -- : Police have registered a kidnapping case after a 13-year-old boy went missing from Kharar nearly two months ago and failed to return home despite extensive searches by his family. According to the complaint of the victim's father, a native of Bihar, his son left home on April 22 at around 3.30 pm to play in the neighbourhood but did not return home later that day. Despite repeated efforts to find the boy and investigating on their own, the family approached the police and reported the matter. Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case under Section 137(2)(kidnapping) of the Bhartiya Nayaya Sanhita (BNS) against unknown persons....
