Mohali, Sept. 29 -- Former Union minister of state Ravneet Singh Bittu alleged the Punjab government's cashless healthcare scheme, Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojana, was failing ordinary patients, despite claims of coverage of up to Rs.10 lakh. He visited two private hospitals in Mohali, where he claimed to have found patients from Ludhiana who were denied cashless treatment despite carrying healthcards. Meanwhile, MLA Kulwant Singh distributed scheme cards to beneficiaries at Arogya Kendra, Sector 69, on Monday, adding that around 1 lakh beneficiary families have been registered in Mohali. htc...
