t 63, actor Anita Raj is not just keeping fit, she is redefining what fitness can look like in one's sixties. Her recent workout videos go beyond maintenance, showcasing strength, control and surprising agility. From kettlebell flows to gymnastic ring work, Raj's routine reflects a well-rounded approach that builds strength, stability and endurance. In one video, she performs a farmer's walk, carrying heavy kettlebells across the floor, a move that tests grip, core and posture. She pairs this with plank rows, maintaining balance while lifting weights without letting her body rotate.
Among the standout moments is her work on gymnastic rings. Assisted pull-ups and L-sit holds on an unstable surface demand shoulder strength, coordination and focus, making them challenging even for younger fitness enthusiasts.
Her routine also includes dumbbell presses, pulldowns, seated rows and weighted abdominal exercises using plates and yoga blocks, combining dynamic movement with static holds to build core strength.
While Raj makes it look effortless, the science behind such workouts is significant. According to global health bodies like the WHO, strength training becomes increasingly important with age.
