Sri Lanka, July 13 -- A youth was arrested today (13), in the Dompe, Jambugahahandiya area along with 9 kg of ice narcotics worth crores of rupees and a stock of weapons, the Police Special Task Force stated.

Officers of the Special Operations Unit of the Special Task Force Gonahena camp arrested a 25-year-old youth during a raid conducted today (13).

Police arrested the suspect while he was transporting narcotics on a motorcycle. Later, during a search conducted at his house located in the Dompe, Jambugahahandiya area, 9 kg and 120 g of ice narcotics worth millions of rupees, 3 'Johnny battas' (explosives), 4 fuses, 5 swords, and 20 ammunition rounds used for M-16 firearms were seized, the Police Special Task Force mentioned.
