Sri Lanka, June 17 -- Yoshitha Rajapaksa, who was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption over an investigation related to his entry into the Sri Lanka Navy and the British Royal Naval Academy, was released on three surety bails of Rs. 5 million each by Colombo Additional Magistrate Lahiru Silva today (17).

The court also imposed a foreign travel ban on the suspect and ordered that the directive be communicated to the Controller of Immigration and Emigration through the court registrar.

The order was issued after the Bribery Commission arrested the suspect and produced him before court today (17).
