Sri Lanka, July 5 -- A woman identified under alias name 'Doni,' suspected of distributing illegal liquor and narcotics across Eppawala and surrounding areas in Anuradhapura, is in custody after being caught with heroin by the Eppawala Police.

The suspect, a mother of two, residing in Pathkolawetiya, Eppawala, was found in possession of 2.45 grams of heroin at the time of arrest.

She received a remand order until July 15 after being produced before the court.

Officers of the Eppawala Police are continuing with the investigations.
