Sri Lanka, July 18 -- Wind speeds across several areas of the island may increase tomorrow (19), the Department of Meteorology states.

The department notes that wind speeds could rise to between 40 and 50 kilometres per hour in the Northern, North Central, and Northwestern provinces, as well as in the Matale, Hambantota, and Trincomalee districts.
