Sri Lanka, April 27 -- A massive protest was held in front of the Ministry of Education today (27) by the Students' Union of the Faculty of Indigenous Health Sciences and Technology at Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine.

The students state that the expert committee appointed to investigate and provide solutions for university issues submitted its recommendation report to the Prime Minister on July 2, 2025.

Students allege that despite several months passing since the submission of the report, authorities failed to take steps to implement those recommendations.
