Sri Lanka, March 18 -- A special WhatsApp service has been introduced by the Government Information Centre (GIC) to assist the public with registration for the National Fuel Pass, a relese said.

Accordingly, individuals facing difficulties in the registration process can obtain assistance by following the steps below.

Applicants are required to send their vehicle number (Vehicle Number) via WhatsApp to 076 000 1919. (The vehicle number should not be sent as an image.)

In addition, clear images of the following documents should be sent to the same number:

National Identity Card (NIC) / Driving Licence or Passport

Vehicle Licence

Certificate of Registration (CR)
