Sri Lanka, Oct. 29 -- Water levels in rivers that were at risk levels fell due to the decrease in current rainfall, according to the Department of Irrigation.

The minor flood condition reported from the Millakanda area of the Kalu River, the Baddegama area of the Gin River, and the Thalgahagoda area of the Nilwala River is currently receding, according to a data report issued by the department.

However, spill gates of the Kala Oya, Mi Oya, and Deduru Oya reservoirs remain open.
