Sri Lanka, Aug. 16 -- The procession for the annual water cutting ceremony of the Kaduwela Siddha Rankadu Pattini Devalaya parades the streets today (16) from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Due to that, a special traffic plan operates on the Kaduwela, Avissawella-Colombo bus route, police announced.

Starting near the devalaya, the procession travels via route 143 Avissawella-Colombo bus road over the Kaduwela Rajasinha bridge towards the ferry, and concluding the water cutting ritual, the procession returns to the devalaya along the same road via Kaduwela junction.
