Sri Lanka, April 22 -- Vesak Full Moon Poya Day falls on May 30, with the following day occurring on Sunday, May 31.

Cabinet Spokesman Minister Dr Nalinda Jayatissa announced this schedule, noting that the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration will issue the relevant circular soon.

The Ministry of Public Administration announced yesterday (21) that the Vesak week is designated from May 27 to June 02.

Additionally, the State Vesak Festival is scheduled to take place centered at the Midellawala Purana Viharaya in Tihagoda, Matara.
