Sri Lanka, July 26 -- Police seized a stock of liquor kept for illegal sale during a raid on a nightclub located on Station Road in Bambalapitiya.

Intelligence information received by Police yesterday (25) night led to the raid, during which officers found over 45 bottles of local and foreign liquor stored without any licence, our correspondent reported.

Bambalapitiya Police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
