Sri Lanka, Oct. 7 -- Two police intelligence officers, arrested and remanded in connection with ongoing investigations into the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks, were ordered to be further remanded until October 21 by Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena today (07).

The Magistrate issued this order when the relevant case was called before court today.

Those remanded are Yasim Bawa Jegilpas, attached to the Vavunathivu army camp and named as the first suspect, and Sarath Samantha, named as the second suspect.

Both suspects were presented to court today via Zoom technology while remaining in prison custody.
