Two new villages built under India grant handed over
Sri Lanka, July 30 -- Two new villages 'Nanada Gama' and 'Jana Aruna Gama' were inaugurated in Kegalle and Kalutara constructed with grant support from the Indian Government.
High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha and Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply Dr. Susil Ranasinghe jointly inaugurated two model villages, 'Nanda Gama' in Kegalle and 'Jana Aruna Gama' in Kalutara.
Minister of Environment Dr. Dammika Patabendiand and Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa joined the inauguration events.
Housing units were handed over at the ceremony to 48 families of the two villages.
