Sri Lanka, Sept. 21 -- Two former female navy officers were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department regarding the disappearance of two women from a detention center located within the Trincomalee naval base in 2008. The two female suspects arrested concerning the incident were presented to the Trincomalee Magistrate's Court and subsequently ordered to be remanded until October 5. The Criminal Investigation Department is conducting further investigations into the incident.
