Sri Lanka, April 13 -- Transport facilities remain ready today (13) to serve passengers travelling to their hometowns for the New Year as long as they arrive, according to Makumbura Multipurpose Transport Centre Management Assistant D.N. Vettasinghe.

A bus fleet is also prepared to provide transport for those travelling via the Southern Expressway tomorrow (14). A Hiru News correspondent reported a significant decrease in the number of people seeking transport at the Makumbura Multipurpose Transport Centre this morning (13), with an ample supply of buses seen stationed at the premises.
