Sri Lanka, Oct. 2 -- Train operations on the upcountry railway line between Peradeniya and Gampola are scheduled to resume today (02).

Train services on that route were previously suspended because Cyclone Ditwah damaged several locations along the railway line between Rambukkana and Gampola.

However, following the phased resumption of train operations, services earlier recommenced from Ambewela to Badulla and from Colombo Fort to Rambukkana.
