Sri Lanka, April 15 -- Staff at the Ambewela railway station served milk rice and other traditional sweets to local and foreign tourists travelling from Badulla to Ambewela today (14).

Foreigners expressed that this experience at the Ambewela station was a special one. The train arrived at the station at 12:05 PM, and the treats were served at the auspicious time of 12:06 PM. This hospitality was organised in celebration of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.
