Sri Lanka, July 12 -- Three suspects were arrested with a stock of illegal liquor during three raids conducted in multiple areas of the country, Police stated.

A team of officers from the Walana Central Anti-Corruption Striking Unit conducted the first raid yesterday (11) in the Karadiyana area within the Piliyandala police division, where a 50-year-old suspect was arrested with 78 litres and 750 millilitres of illegal liquor. The suspect was handed over to the Piliyandala Police Station for further investigations.
