Sri Lanka, April 10 -- Three students were taken into police custody in connection with a conflict that broke out among a group of students from a private university in Homagama.

The death occurred following an assault triggered by an argument during a party held at a hotel in the Homagama area last night (09), according to police reports. The deceased student was a 19-year-old resident of the Nikadalupotha area in Wellawa, Kurunegala.
