Sri Lanka, March 11 -- Three suspects were taken into custody with a stock of heroin and 'Ice' during a special operation conducted by officers of the Kahathuduwa Expressway Interchange unit yesterday (10) evening, according to Police Headquarters. Officials seized 34 grams and 95 milligrams of heroin along with 19 grams and 800 milligrams of 'Ice' from the suspects' possession at the time of the arrest.

The arrested individuals are three youths aged between 21 and 25. Preliminary investigations reveal they are residents of the Ankumbura and Galhinna areas. Following the apprehension by the Expressway Interchange unit, the suspects and the seized narcotics were handed over to the Kahathuduwa Police Station for further investigations. Ka...
